I joined Sean McCandless and Chris Starling at the lighthouse predawn this morning to listen to the night flight. It was quite good with lots of warblers and thrushes going over. Close to dawn the thrushes really started going as they often do. Lots of Swainson's Thrushes, a few Veeries, and 4 Gray-cheeks were heard along with plenty of warbler sp. Of warblers that we could ID, Common Yellowthroats appeared to be moving, but we didn't see many on the ground today.

At dawn, I walked back towards the parking area and met up with Monroe Harden, Tim Carney, Terry Miller, Heidi Trasetti, and Michael Stewart (I think I got that right). There were many birders around today and we all birded together and apart so the below checklist is only what I saw. I know other people saw plenty that I missed.
Highlights for me were:
- my first migrant Canada Geese of the Fall - 2 high-flying Osprey at first light that appeared to have migrated through the night - a getting late Eastern Kingbird - a very impressive morning flight of warblers at the lighthouse, I had 18 species today - 33 Rose-breasted Grosbeaks - a Dickcissel
