Subject: [MDBirding] Amer. Golden Plover @ Hughes Polo fields & thanks!

Hi all,

Saw Clive's post this morning on the 4 Amer. golden Plovers this morning. (Thank you Clive!)- I went out
there and sure enough, with some patient scope scanning (they were on the left side way back by the green roof building(?) if you stand facing the white fence. Also in the field (10:45ish) were Horned Larks and a single Killdeer. Afterwards, I stopped by Hughes Hollow but mowing on the grass dike was in full swing, so the only birds I could scrape up were 2 Tree Swallows, 1 Gray Catbird, and a Great Blue Heron. 2 Slider Turtles were causalities of the mowing.
Forgot to thank Gail M. for her sharp eyes yesterday spotting the Yellow-throated Warbler and many other species!
