A five sparrow day....and 3 LINCOLN'S. It was very birdy until 930-10 and
then a rapid slow down....except the BROAD-WINGS which kettled about 10:30
and then streamed off.

A fascinating follow up to finding a caterpillar in the process of being
eaten alive from within. Some cocoons on the cattails turned out to be
parasitic wasp larvae that had eaten up their host and then made their
cocoon. We weren't sure if the cocoon was the caterpillars or the wasps
until we took it apart.

Video is not for the faint at heart.... http://flic.kr/p/dbghXS
