A Carroll Co. Bird Club field trip to Hashawha was successful in finding a variety of migrants. Chimney Swifts, Flickers, Blue Jays, and Robins were moving through in numbers. Other migrants were:
Green Heron 1 Unidentified Empidonax 1 Phoebe 2 Blue-headed Vireo 2, my first of the fall Red-eyed Vireo 4 Red-breasted Nuthatch 1, heard only Ruby-crowned Kinglet 1 Yellowthroat 4 Magnolia Warbler 2 Bay-breasted Warbler 1, my first of the year Western Palm Warbler 1 Black-throated Green Warbler 1 Scarlet Tanager 3 Indigo Bunting 1
