Hi everyone,
I spent the morning birding Point Lookout State Park, the highlights included a CLAY-COLORED SPARROW mixed in with the CHIPPING SPARROWs in the picnic area, a YELLOW-BELLIED FLYCATCHER in the same place there has been one my past 3 visits (same one???), and two BANK SWALLOWs heading south. There was not much activity in the woods but enough to keep things interesting!! A non-avian highlight came in the form of Long-tailed Skippers, there were more than I have ever seen with a tally of 19 for the day in Saint Mary's County, and two on our Butterfly Bush when I got home!
