Subject: [MDBirding] 8 warbler species at Howard Conservancy

After hiking with some friends at Cunningham falls state park, Lisa and I stopped by the Howard Conservancy on the way home to Annapolis. It was quite active down by the stream.

Best bird by far was a skulking Connecticut Warbler, which Lisa got a quick, but good look at, and I barely saw. After lots of searching and iPhone using, we managed to get the bird to sing briefly 10 yards or so from where it was first seen.

Other warblers included Magnolia, Palm, Chestnut Sided, American Redstart, BT Green, Black and White and Common Yellowthroat.

Only sparrow we could find was Song.

Good birding all. Sunday should be Awesome!!
