Subject: [MDBirding] Connecticut, Adkins, edited for location

The Connecticut Warbler at Adkins today was located in Nancy's Meadow which was once called the North Meadow. It was in one of the nut trees that is located in the northeast corner. It came out of the field brush and landed in the tree.

Again, you are allowed to enter Adkins Arboretum as early as you would like. The gate has been taken down. I understand the map of the arboretum is not on their website. I will bring this to their attention.

The entrance fee is $5 for adults. Please pay this at the Visitor's Center before you leave. Adkins is trying to work with birders to make it more accessible for us. Help me keep it that way. There is a clipboard, with recent sightings, on the left just before you exit the back door to the south meadow. Please take a minute to report what you see.

Thanks,
Karen Harris
