This afternoon at the Woodlawn Wildlife Area near Colora -Cecil County , I
had a nice encounter with a stunning first winter Conn. Warbler.

first winter bird: Buffy/roufous-brown wash above slightly darker hood
covering upper neck, hood, and thoat; conspicuous white eye ring;
lemonade-color wash below -especially on the under tail coverts;
large/heavy bill; notably larger overall than nearby yellowthroat.
Responded to pishing with harsh chippy scolding notes.
