Subject: [MDBirding] Woodlawn Wildlife Area-Lincoln's Sparrow

Hi all,

I spent a few hours at the Woodlawn Wildlife Area in Cecil Co. this morning. The area around the little wetland at the south end had some pretty good sparrow activity. Lincoln's Sparrows aren't easy to find in Cecil Co...if you need one, there's at least one, maybe more, hanging around the meadowy hillside just north of the wetland. The woodland trails at the north end of the property had a few FOY birds too-White Throated Sparrow, RC Kinglet, GC Kinglet, also several Swainson's Thrushes, Ovenbird, Black-throated Green Warbler, and others. Here's my list: http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S11720349 .

Have fun out there.
