Morning again,
After the initial sighting of the 5 or so Pine Siskins at the feeders, at about 10:45 I saw and heard a flock of between 35 & 40 more in flight around and over the yard, looking as if they might land, but off they went. They flew around several times, calling etc. in a rather tight flock. The Cooper's Hawk I saw earlier in the back trees was perched in my neighbors grassy side yard, on a 4x4 post he uses as a dog run support. It flew into my other neighbors bushes around the same time as the siskins were flying, so maybe the siskins were just being wary.
