I led a nice group of beginning birders from Christ Church in Georgetown, D.C. on a bird walk at Fletcher�s Boathouse by the Potomac River this cold Saturday morning on behalf of the Audubon Naturalist Society. Most notable bird was a brown Purple Finch. I see only a handful of reports from D.C. so far in eBird. There were also a lot of Golden-crowned Kinglets and Yellow-rumped Warblers.
