Pretty Pine Siskin, Mark. I was at Cape Henlopen yesterday as well but
didn't see this bird. I did see a Brown Pelican from the ferry, although I
think it was in NJ waters, and a neat flock of mostly Tree Swallows that
were drafting alongside the ferry. They disappeared when we got close to
shore, so I think they veered off to the first breakwater to rest. They were
sure working hard to keep up with the ferry, sometimes dropping down close
to the water where there was less of a headwind, and then popping back up
again to get into the slipstream.

At Cape May on Saturday, I saw a sparrow that looked like a Swamp Sparrow,
but the rump area had a definite olive tinge to it, so I am not sure what
it was. Longish tail, gray cheeks, dark head stripe and eyeline, streaked
breast.
