I have been reading with envy the many reports of Pine Siskins coming to people�s yards in Maryland, DC, and Virginia. Finally today at lunchtime, four Siskins dropped by out check out our feeders and purple coneflower seed heads. Not the numbers some folks have seen, but pretty respectable for our small suburban yard with little habitat around us.
