What a fun morning at Irvine Nature Center for me and Kye Jenkins--bird activity constant. Sparrows in large numbers everywhere. We had 9 sparrow species, including fos junco. Notable were large numbers of White-Crowned and Lincoln's. Also late Tennessee and rb Grosbeak. Siskins, Creeper..... Selected birds:

BROWN CREEPER 1
House Wren 3
WINTER WREN 2
GOLDEN-CROWNED KINGLET 3
Ruby-crowned Kinglet 30
Swainson's Thrush 1
Hermit Thrush 1
TENNESSEE WARBLER 2

Black-throated Blue Warbler 3
Palm Warbler 8 (yellow)
Yellow-rumped Warbler 1
LINCOLN'S SPARROW 6
WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW 11 (9 immature, 2 adults)
ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK 1 (female)
JUNCO 5 fos
PURPLE FINCH 1
PINE SISKIN 12
