I have a nice flock of 30-40 Siskins flying around the neighborhood. Only 5 or 6 have actually been at the feeders. I'm hoping the others find their way. If so, I'll definitely have to make a trip to the bird store for food. Oddly enough, like others have stated, they are completely avoiding the nyjer feeders.
Other birds to note is a large flock of about 30 Chipping Sparrows that seem to be sticking around. I keep scanning and hoping a Clay-Colored is in the mix, but no luck. Also have Juncos, White-Throats and White-Crowns.
Now, all I need is some Purple Finches to show.
