Nice surprise this morning, my first junco for this fall migration. Also had two chipping sparrows, pine siskins and purple finches still coming in daily.
I watched three bluebirds enjoying meal worms I still put out and observed the female gathering dry grass and carrying it to one of the nest boxes, then one of the two males removed the grasses. What a wonderful birding morning right from my kitchen windows here in Callaway.
