I walked the path in Millstream Park in Centreville this morning. At around 10:15 a single Greater White-Fronted Goose flew overhead (about 20 feet up) calling loudly. It then flew out over the marsh and headed downstream. I was not familiar with the call but I did verify it was from a Greater White-Fronted Goose.
The path at Millstream follows the stream between Rt. 213 in Centreville and Rt. 304. There were hundreds of Canada Geese in the water, especially near the end where it joins the Corsica River at Rt. 304.
