Did another Howard County sparrow �Big Day� on Thursday and again hit 10 species. Did not get a Nelson�s but did pick up Vesper�s in a couple spots in the county so they are on the move. Grasshopper�s still a surprise lingerer. Could not get Junco or Fox but know they are about and around. Thought this pic was interesting since I spotted two Vesper�s and a Savannah in this tree. Both species often go very high when flushed.....http://flic.kr/p/dmGfdG (they are tagged in this picture). Other than Chipping I have never seen other sparrows in the tops of tall trees.
