Did it this morning ...finally!...and hit a 12 sparrow day. Our first Clay-colored of the fall hanging with the Field sparrows. A surprise late Grasshopper (what a great year it has been for them) and 3 Vespers. Sharps at Waterford farm is open to the public and they are kind to birders but there were 1000 children there when I left. www.sharpfarm.com for hours and directions. I could not relocate the sparrow but a few people that got there right after we found it did see it.
