Our first Golden Eagle of the season was seen on Monday, Oct. 22nd at the Cromwell Valley Park HawkWatch. We had a great flight of raptors heading south. The observers on hand who scanned a difficult sky included Mark Scarff, Brad Cernohorsky, Cal Orvis and Joe Stag. Kim Steininger from the Ashland Hawk Watch just north off us in Delaware tipped us off that there may be some GEs heading our way. Thanks to all.
