Hi Sally,

Possibly Tennessee Warbler. I had one feeding in goldenrod a couple
of weeks ago in Ocean City--which made me think it was an
Orange-Crowned at first even though it otherwise looked like a
Tennessee (thanks to Matt Hafner for helping me see the light on
this). So it appears Tennessees do sometimes feed low to the
ground--though I certainly think of them as being primarily arboreal.
I've had Tennessee as late as first week of November in Mont. Co. by
the way.
