I think I had purple finch singing today around 4 pm. It was a very musical twitter, lovely to hear.

Several of us here in College Park Old Town (near the Metro) have small
numbers of Pine Siskins coming to yard feeders and bird baths, mixed in
with the usual American Goldfinches. Far as I know, however, nobody here
has had Purple Finches yet.
