Today there were 2 Vesper Sparrows at Waterford Farm and at least 2 more at
Mount Pleasant. A Grasshopper Sparrow continues at Waterford Farm. No sign
of the Clay-colored Sparrow or the small Dingo-like dog who followed me the
other day. The "Dingo" was a very good sparrow hunter. We had a high count
of SEVEN Vesper Sparrows at Mt Pleasant yesterday while searching
unsuccessfully to relocate the Le Conte's Sparrow.
The Vespers at Mount Pleasant are on the west side. Walk past the barn, go
down the hill, and cross the wooden foot bridge.
