Subject: [MDBirding] Yard birds

Afternoon all.
Lots of birds around today. I had to go out and resurrect the feeders, as the wind and soggy ground had conspired against them, but after filling them, I spent the rest of the morning watching the yard from the comfort of the house. I have had 30 species so far, shortly after noon, with a few siskins and Purple Finches still around. Not much else too unusual; Cedar Waxwings in the bradford pears (still holding their fruit), lots of robins and flickers (4 in view at once in the driveway area), Red-belleid WPs (one fighting with a mockingbird), lots of bluebirds, juncos, Song and WT Sparrows, Chipping Sparrows, YR Warblers, Carolina Wrens, an adult male Cooper's Hawk that flew in and scared all the birds from the front yard. Never a dull moment!
