Hi All,

Until I can get somewhere more productive, I will be birding Patterson Park to see what waterfowl are hanging out there. This afternoon I was there for an hour or so and had some good looks at a drake GREEN-WINGED TEAL, female RUDDY DUCK and some early AMERICAN WIDGEONS. Also, some AMERICAN COOTS and PIED-BILLED GREBE remain from before the storm. Also of note, an extremely late OVENBIRD was flitting around among the numerous sparrows near the community gardens. From the Pagoda Hill I breifly looked out over the harbor towards the Key Bridge and thought I might have picked out a NORTHERN GANNET sailing among the gulls, but it was just too distant to be sure.

Good Birding, I'm enjoying the other sightings!
