As many others also reported on Thursday, nearly all our siskins absquatulated that day, leaving only a rear guard of 2 or 3. But today they've returned stronger than ever - we stopped counting at 100, twice as many asbefore. What is responsible for these rapid fluctuations?

I also notice that while we have 2 sets of feeders, front and back, they seem usually all to favor one side or the other at a given time, rather than divide up.
