I didn't get any jaegers or storm petrels, but there is always tomorrow.

Other highlights from today:
-five Gadwall in a nearby pond.
-a handful of DUNLIN flew directly over my home!
-a lingering CATTLE EGRET on Whitehall Road.

So I got up early and hiked into the park. It was officially closed, but I hoped that I'd have no issues hunkering down to watch the birds. I didn't, but I DON'T RECOMMEND DOING IT. Bill Schreitz joined me for an hour or two before we both had to leave around 2:30.

Here is my list:

BRANT 89 Conservative estimate!
