The new nest that the Bald Eagles are building on the south end of Conn
Island, just upriver from Great Falls, seems to have survived the
hurricane. (The old nest was blown down in the wind storm in June.) It may
have been a bit damaged on the back side; I couldn't tell for sure as I
only had a pair of 8x bins. But mostly it seems to look like it is OK. Good
news for sure.
