I saw another Short-eared owl today in DC, this time at Hains point,
flying around over the river at 3pm. Photos attached. Accompanying
were 4 Eastern Meadowlarks, Peregrine, 5 Bald Eagles, Cooper's hawk
and a Bonaparte's gull.
