On my lunch break today I went to Thomas Pt. in Annapolis to see what was around. I was surprised to find that 3 Snow Buntings were in the grass at the point near where Dan Haas reported two birds a few days ago. Despite a few fisherman on the rocks the birds seemed unphased and I sat quietly on the rocks while they slowly approached me, foraging at times no more than 20 ft away for some nice photo ops. This was 1:30 - 2:00 pm. Not much on the water except some Buffleheads and a Common Loon.
