Is there any chance that either Crossbill has a call that's not in the high register? In other words, is there any chance that I could hear it?

Just found Bill's Post, downloaded the calls, and Type 3 is perfect fit!

Today at 12:05 from the platform at Greenbelt Metro Stop, a bird flew over giving a two syllable call, yip-yip. I had played the Stokes recording several times over the past few days, most recently yesterday morning for the waterfowl search I was leading, so it would be fresh in everyone's head/ears. Darned if I didn't hear one of those called today. This recording on Xeno-Canto is pretty darn close to what I heard. http://www.xeno-canto.org/1297

Xeno-Canto does not appear to allow searching by types. Calls from Kazakhstan or Denmark won't do me a lot of good. Anyone know a good, solid Type 3 recording?

I first heard an intriguing call while under at canopy, emerged and heard twice two two-note yip-yips. The bird was west bound.

WHERE are these things settling and refueling?!?!?!?
