Muscovies, outside of Texas, should be counted as Muscovy Duck(Domestic type), a choice found under the Add Species tab when submitting a checklist. Graylag Goose (Domestic type) is the correct choice under Add Species in Maryland. MD eBird reviewers will invalidate both species as introduced/exotic but it's important to submit these species in the eventuality that they may become established (think Florida psittacids or European Starling). Invalidated sightings can be easily resurrected in the future if/when a trend becomes obvious.

I'd also like to know about Muscovy Ducks, specifically the ones at Patterson Park. On eBird, I've seen them counted as actual Muscovies, domestic Muscovies, or not counted at all. Obviously the angry white one is domestic and probably shouldn't be counted :) ....but the other ones almost look like wild types. If we're counting Eurasian Collared-Doves and Monk Parakeets, what about Muscovies? Basically -- where does one draw the line with exotics?

Not too concerned, but it would be a new county bird if acceptable.
