Subject: [MDBirding] Re: Oxbow Lake - Tundra Swan, family of 4

On Nov 14, 2010, I reported 1 Tundra Swan (immature) and 3 River Otters. This
afternoon/evening, 16 Nov 2012, I am reporting 2 Tundra Swan (adult) and 3 River Otters! This morning there were 2 adult and 2 immature swans. There were no geese on the lake at all when I arrived. As the sun started setting, the geese started arriving. The skein are getting larger and larger. By the time I left the cumulative number was up to about 250. Also as the sun was setting, the muskrat were coming out to feed. Also a small herd of 9 White-tailed Deer spooked as I walked out of the Oxbow.
