New Windsor - In the wetlands a lingering female Yellowthroat and two Tree Sparrows, my first of the fall. In the sewage ponds 59 Canada Geese, two Mallards, two Ring-necked Ducks, and two Ruddy Ducks.
John Shirk Road - a female Kestrel, probably responsible for no field birds there.
Sharrett Road - a flock 36 Pipits in the field SE of the railroad crossing
Sixes Bridge Road - an immature White-crowned Sparrow was the only bird of note; no field birds here either but the field on one side of the side has unharvested soy beans.
Sixes Bridge - one Fox Sparrow
