Today on my lunch break, I had a group of White-winged Crossbills flyover while I was walking around the scrubby area on the west side of the Anacostia at Bladesnburg Waterfront Park. I couldn't tell how many birds were in the flock, but it was probably somewhere between 5 and 15. Bluebirds and Waxwings were also flying by.
In that same area, a Yellow Palm Warbler was working the fence line.
