3 Northern Harriers hunting over the fields throughout the afternoon with many Red-Tailed Hawks joining them.
On the wooded side of the road were loads of White-Throat, White-Crown, Fox and Song Sparrows. Best of the afternoon were 3 Savannahs hanging near a small watering ditch in the field.
No Short-Eared Owls yet, but I did hear a distant Barred Owl calling.
Good birding! Laura Rinier
