Hi --
Noticed two Red-breasted Nuthatches at our feeders this morning. We had had a group of 5-6 early in the month -- in fact, as soon as we had refilled the feeders after returning from Peru on Nov. 1, they appeared. They stayed around for about a week, then vanished overnight during the period of warm weather midmonth. I suspect the new ones have just arrived (maybe with the cold front?) as assume our earlier visitors are long-gone.
Now for some crossbills!
