Dear Birding Friend,
The 37th annual Southern Lancaster County (PA) Christmas Bird Count is
scheduled for Sunday, 16 December 2012. We welcome birders of any level
of experience. You will be teamed with someone who knows the area and
its birds very well. A portion of the count circle is in Cecil County,
MD and Chester and York Counties, PA. Feel free to bird for part or all
of the day. We will be meeting at Bob and Nancy's home in Peach Bottom,
PA at the end of the day for dinner, to tally the data, and to exchange
stories.
Please contact Bob Schutsky if you wish to volunteer for the Solanco, PA
CBC. My contact information is listed below. There is no $5.00
participant fee this year. All that is required is to go birding and
have a wonderful time.
