A snow goose was sitting on the primary dam at Loch Raven reservoir late this afternoon amongst even more Canada geese than usual- perhaps 300 on the dam and lake. It was a bit distant for a good picture (enclosed) but its black wing tips and characteristic bill shape were evident in the scope.
