Subject: [MDBirding] Fwd: Hagerstown Loggerhead Shrike

I am forwarding the following message from Barry Marts of WV. This is the
location where the Loggerhead Shrike has been seen since 2009. From I-70
take i-81 north. Go west on Rt 40 and make a right at the first traffic
light. Go left on Garland Groh Blvd to Hagers Crossing Dr. In the past the
shrike was also seen from Sedgwick Way.

" I have not noticed any postings recently about the Hagerstown
shrike, but today I was early for work so drove by and there it was in the
same area as before (in the undeveloped -as yet- field across from the
intersection of Hagers Crossing Dr, and Capstone Dr. behind the shopping
center.... 4th Year?).
I checked a couple of other times without luck; they were windy days but
today was beautiful. I thought maybe that you could spread the word as I'm
still not on any list and last
I heard Brad Lanning was out west. Good birding, Barry Marts,
Martinsburg, WV (& Bev)"
