I agree it's great people feel comfortable enough to discuss not only what we see but how we bird and how we report here and on eBird.� My only suggestion is to make sure we assume goodwill and intentions by others.� I think the vast majority of posters do, but if some people fail to do this, let's just try to ignore these types of posts.

I just want to remind everyone that with the very sensitive nature of these discussions, it is important to remember to be respectful and civil in your postings. Also, keep in mind that any message you send is archived indefinitely on about 4 or 5 different places on the internet and visible to anyone whether they are on the list or not.
