Nelson's Sparrow 3 Great views of three very active and brightly colored Nelsoni. In tall grass near a pile of old telephone poles beyond end of road. Responded well to "pishing".

Nelson's/Saltmarsh Sparrow 1 Distinct breast streaking like Saltmarsh Sparrow, but upper breast bright orange buff, not distinguishable from face color. Belly light gray, not white like Nelsoni. Viewed side by side with Saltmarsh Sparrow. Also, Saltmarsh showed fine black streaking in eyebrow orange behind eye. Seen at perimeter of parking lot in tall reeds. Very cooperative and responded well to "pishing".
