I've received a couple of reliable reports of a/the Sandhill Crane in Huntingtown, the most recent being on Thursday. The two most recent reports were from around Thanksgiving and two days ago both along Deep Landing Road. The former in someone's yard, the latter in a harvested soybean field. During the fall count (can't remember the dates) a homeowner along Lowery Road had photos from her front yard. Despite several attempts, I have been unsuccessful. Jane Kostenko and I went down there again today without success. Bugger keeps out of sight!
