Subject: [MDBirding] eBird Hotspot - for Crest Lawn White-winged Crossbills

About 26 of us were fortunate to see at least 7 White-winged Crossbills at
Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Marriottsville this morning. As you can
imagine, the eBird map will look very ugly if everyone uses a personal
location. Thanks to Mike Bowen, we have created an eBird HotSpot for this
location and I am asking everyone to merge their checklists with the
HotSpot. I expect the HotSpot will not be available until tomorrow and the
next eBird update.
The official name of the cemetery is Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens and that
will be the name of the HotSpot.

The Red Crossbills were not seen today but a real bonus was the
Black-capped Chickadee found by Bill Hubick.

If you accepted the shared checklist from me today, then your location
should automatically roll into the HotSpot. Please let me know if this
doesn't happen.

Thanks,
Joe
