I was at Black Hill on the ANS trip led by Mark England last Saturday. We had ten species of ducks, though the quantiies were low in some cases -- e.g. 1 L. Scaup, 1 Canvasback, 2 Gadwall. Present in moderate quantities were Ringnecks, Hooded Mergs, Buffleheads, and Ruddys. Also, there was a higher than usual number of Black Ducks.
