Question will Junco or sparrow type birds harass a mockingbird? I saw what i thought was the shrike the first time I looked this afternoon but dismissed it as a mockingbird when it flew and I saw white wing patches. After consulting my field guide I went back about a half hour later and think I found it the second time. I couldn't get a really good look at it even with my scope but the color of the breast was much whiter then a nearby mockingbord that I also saw.
