I saw the tanager this morning just after 11, in bush and tree near the feeders on the deck. It gave me two pretty good looks in about the first 10 minutes I was there, then nothing for the next hour, as two birders who just missed it and I kept hoping it would return, or that the black capped chickadee would show itself, no luck on either:( It was a nice birdy place tho--robins and some cedars going after some berry laden bushes, and the usual suspects flying back and forth to the feeders.
I used the shared ebird location - first time using one of these, and it worked very nicely. Thanks for it, and for the clear instructions.
