I birded Swan Harbor this morning with Tim Carney and Terry Miller. Our best bird was a Yellow Warbler in the new impoundments. We originally found it in the NW corner with a couple American Tree Sparrows. Terry was able to get a few photos. http://flickr.com/#/photos/88650362@N06/8257244605/
A few Rusty Blackbirds were picked out of the massive blackbird flock when portions would briefly pause in the trees.
The new impoundments also held 2 Lesser Scaup and 6 Green-winged Teal with the Mallards.
The bay had a nice group of ducks that consisted of Scaup, Canvasback, Gadwall, and Ruddy Ducks.
Great day!
