Jim stasis and I were at Fort Howard on Saturday morning. When the fog lifted enough to scan the area we observed a bird from a distance that aspirated to be very similarly marked as the bird in question. It eventually swam to within 50 yards of us.at that point the bird that we observed was clearly a Common Loon. I'll be examining and posting photos that were taken Saturday morning later today.
