The Christmas Bird Count (CBC) season is nearly upon us. We can still use some additional folks for the Seneca MD/VA CBC on Sunday, December 16. We are looking for birders of all experience levels.
The count circle covers a significant part of Montgomery County, as well as portions of Loudoun and Fairfax Counties in Virginia.
If you are not already signed up for the count and would like to join us, whether or not you�ve ever done a CBC before, please contact us at the email or phone numbers below. If you are new to CBCs, we can pair you with someone experienced. If you have questions, please contact us.
Even if you aren�t able to join us to count in the field, if you live in the count circle and have bird feeders, you can contribute to the count by reporting the birds you observe around your yard on Sunday. If you would like to help as a �feeder watcher�, please contact us to confirm whether you are within the circle.
